What is MOONVOW?

MOONVOW is a supernatural otome romance for adults: a werewolf, a vampire, a hunter, and a man who knows too much are bound to you by vows you cannot remember making. It is made for iOS and Android, is free with no in-app purchases or ads, and is only for players aged 21 or older.

Is he a real person? Who writes what he says?

He is a fictional character, not a real person. Everything he says — chat replies, night notes, late-night calls, and Moon Watch lines — is written by people. In chat, you pick one of three replies, and he answers with lines our writers prepared. He cannot give professional advice.

Something he said bothers me. What can I do?

Every line in MOONVOW is written and reviewed by people before release, so there is no in-app report button. If a line concerns you, email contactus@netherfire.com with the subject MOONVOW and a screenshot, and we will look into it.

Why did he stop talking today?

Each character talks with you a couple of times a day. When today’s conversations are done, he says goodbye in his own words and comes back the next day. This is part of the story, not a fault.

Does MOONVOW need an internet connection?

No. MOONVOW does not connect to Netherfire servers. The only online part is optional: Game Center or Google Play Games, when you open the achievements screen.

How do achievements work?

Achievements use Game Center on Apple devices and Google Play Games on Android. Sign-in is optional and only starts when you open the achievements screen. Apple or Google handles it under its own policies.

What happens if I change phones or reinstall?

Progress is saved only on your device, and there is no cloud save. Uninstalling removes your progress, and it will not move to another device automatically.

How do I export or delete my data?

Use “Export my data” in Settings → Privacy to save a copy. On the chart page, “Erase what he remembers” clears his memory library. Uninstalling the app removes everything, and Netherfire has no copy on its servers.

What is the age requirement?

MOONVOW is only for people aged 21 or older. It is not directed to minors.
